About our apprenticeships

We believe the work we undertake should directly benefit the local communities that we are part of. This belief is mirrored in our commitment to employ and train local people, some of which we deliver through our Apprenticeship Scheme.

Apprenticeships combine part-time study with paid employment, enabling apprentices to achieve recognised industry qualifications while they learn practical skills and gain experience in a work environment.

We offer apprenticeships for those interested in becoming a gas engineer or an electrical engineer together with office-based opportunities for those interested in a range of support services functions.

There are a number of apprenticeship routes, including existing partnerships with education providers such as Lewisham College and training providers such as Building Lives, which provides opportunities for vulnerable people living in some of the most deprived areas in London.

We also operate a ‘refer a friend’ scheme for friends and family members of existing employees.
